David DeIuliis is in his second year at Arlington-Belmont Crew after a three years at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. During his three years at Pierce, he revitalized the program, nearly doubling the roster in size and helped guide the program to heights it had not previously seen, including sending two boats through to the Grand Final at the New England Rowing Championships (NERC) for the first time in program history in 2015 as well as another program first in 2016 with the novice 4+ earning a semi-final appearance at the Dad Vail Regatta, the largest collegiate regatta in the country. During Dave's tenure, the team also posted a 3.1 team GPA as well as having three students named as Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Award winners, another program first.

Before joining FPU, Dave spent six-years serving as the head rowing coach at Brandeis University from May 2008 through May 2013 and three years as the varsity head coach at Wentworth Tech. He also served as a member of the NCAA Division 2 Regional Advisory Committee and as a D2 pollster for the College Rowing Coaches Association.

Mike Bannister

Mike Bannister lives in Arlington with his longtime girlfriend Andrea.  In years past he helped start and coach two junior rowing clubs in upstate NY - Fairport and Pittsford - both of which we compete against in regional regattas.  He started rowing in 1983 for UMass Lowell and continued to row with various master club teams.  Most recently he rows with Riverside (along with Andy - see below).  Outside of AB Crew Mike is a realtor for Lamacchia Realty in Waltham.   Mike's coaching and decades of competitive rowing experience should prove to be a real asset for the Boys Varsity squad!
